1992 – Pioneers in data integration
Big names in the field of communications are behind the name EURO-LOG.In 1992 Deutsche Telekom, France Telecom and Digital Equipment founded a joint venture – EURO-LOG System GmbH was born. This was in the days when the whole world was eagerly awaiting the Microsoft Windows 3.1 update. The time when people were beginning to realize that the future of communications lay in the exchange of data and that the potential of IT systems could no longer only be in their linear application.
Systems networking was becoming a hot topic – and for EURO-LOG its mission.
Based on the competence of European communications and IT giants, EURO-LOG developed a product portfolio aimed at the integration of logistics data and processes.
Integrating the various systems, applications, system environments and steps in the value chain was in those days a true pioneering achievement.
