EURO-LOG - THE INTEGRATION COMPANY FOR LOGISTICS

From simple alarm to distress signal

When configuring the event management system for your company, we define what situations should lead to events, such as an automatic notification or warnings with different levels of escalation. The system continuously monitors your data streams according to pre-defined parameters so that when structural or content-related errors occur, the alarm bells immediately begin to ring. Conceivable scenarios are for example checking the completeness and plausibility of incoming information such as status notifications, unloading reports and delivery notes. Adherence to deadlines can also be monitored, as well as volume or price deviations, for example between your order and your supplier’s confirmation.

Problem identified and rectified

Via web-based applications, all stakeholders can inform themselves about the current status of the events. Once the glitch has been resolved, the underlying data and respective events are displayed as “rectified”. If the rectification is not carried out in automated form, but by telephone, the responsible staff member sets the status to “cleared” by mouse click. If the system triggers an alarm that does not require immediate action, events may also be “ignored”, also with a click of the mouse. Thanks to a convenient traffic light system, it is possible to identify at a glance and at any time which events are still relevant and in need of clarification. On request, the event management system can also send regular reports of unplanned events to those responsible – quickly and simply by email.
