Knowing what’s happening
Shipment tracking or tracked by the shipment
Knowing where a shipment is, at any time or in any place, is nowadays a standard logistics service. In principle, shipment Tracking & Tracing is not magic, since every forwarder should have the base data, namely the electronic capture of the shipment data, available. Today, classic Tracking & Tracing is standard for supporting shipping operations. EURO-LOG’s tried and tested Tracking & Tracing system enables the consignor and forwarder to operate on the basis of shared data. Status information pertaining to each and every order can thus be retrieved at every step. Reliable delivery documentation thanks to data transfer and proofs of delivery in real time also makes faster invoicing possible. The result: an asset for your accounts!
In pursuit of quality and speed
Via EURO-LOG’s EDI clearing centre, shipment data are distributed to the partners as an
electronic load list. Incoming status notifications, order confirmations, delivery notes, transport reports and proofs of delivery are automatically assigned to the corresponding shipments and are available in the Tracking & Tracing system together with the shipment data – and that’s where they stay. The shipment history is archived so that the
shipment process can be tracked at any time. It is also possible to allocate
photos to the individual sequences, for example to document damages. In the interest of quality management, photos of consignments from everyday operations can be integrated in order to optimize packaging. The system generates
proofs of delivery in digital or paper form and thanks to mobile data capture, you can rapidly transmit proofs of delivery, for example using a lean solution such as the digital pen.
Tracking & Tracing is standard – proactive shipment tracking is the future
Anyone unable to offer advanced Tracking & Tracing will quickly be overtaken in the future – but if you react in a timely manner, you can benefit from the h
ighest possible process quality and transparency from order through to delivery. Thanks to EURO-LOG’s proactive shipment tracking, shipments that deviate from the defined shipment process automatically send out a signal. This reversal of the shipment tracking process saves consignors and services providers a lot of time and money. This enables them to efficiently control their logistics processes,
especially in the case of unplanned events and deviations. Even before the customer becomes aware that anything is wrong, you have identified the glitch and initiated alternative scenarios. Your big advantage when it comes to assured quality of the shipment process.
