ElectronicPartner monitors the delivery duration of consignments to specialist retailers and markets in the buying group using the ONE TRACK cloud solution from EURO-LOG

Hallbergmoos-Munich – ElectronicPartner is now monitoring its logistics distribution processes using the ONE TRACK software - a product developed by IT service provider EURO-LOG, a company specializing in the integration of logistical processes. Using the cloud solution, the trading company for entertainment and household electronics, IT and telecommunications products, as well as services, is able to monitor and verify the delivery duration of all consignments to specialist retailers and markets both in Germany and abroad. The consignment data, which can be viewed at a central location, therefore provides a basis for analyzing the performance of the transport service providers. The software analyses can be used to evaluate potential areas for improvement in the shipping process - thereby laying the foundations for the optimization of delivery times. Instead of having to use the transport service providers' various websites, ElectronicPartner logistics employees can now use EURO-LOG’s central database to track consignments, increasing transparency and reducing response times in day-to-day business.

The use of the software in the logistics distribution process, and in particular to create transparency with respect to customers, service providers and its own employees, was what ultimately persuaded ElectronicPartner to opt for ONE TRACK. Delivery times can be sustainably improved for customers using the cloud solution as ONE TRACK provides a neutral and reliable means of analyzing service providers, thereby highlighting any areas for improvement with respect to the selection of service providers.

Following very speedy implementation of the cloud solution, delivery times are now monitored centrally. Any negotiations with transport service providers are supported by clear reports that enable the performance of the service provider concerned to be evaluated at a glance. The performance in question is displayed visually on a map, sub-divided by postcode areas. For important consignments, an active notification function can also be enabled that provides information about progress and any deviations.
