VDMA Info day, 06/19/2017
On 20 June at the VDMA info day in Frankfurt, EURO-LOG AG will reveal how industrial companies can use cloud-based software solutions to digitalise their international supply chain and achieve real-time transparency.
Hallbergmoos-Munich – For more than 25 years, the IT service provider has been developing cloud-based software solutions for the logistics sector, and helping companies from a wide range of industries to prepare their supply chain for the digital shift. With the EUROLOG SCM PLATFORM, EURO-LOG AG is enabling its customers to connect all involved process partners in real-time, establishing a transparent supply chain to improve collaboration and provide real-time control for managers.
On 20 June 2017, Markus Karlein, Project Manager at EURO-LOG AG, will be hosting a talk entitled “Authenticity, integrity and trust in Industry 4.0” at the VDMA info day, discussing real-time transparency in international supply chains. His talk will give attendees an insight into the logistics processes of well-known customers such as Kärcher, Heidelberger Druckmaschinen and John Deere. These companies use procurement, transport and container management systems from EURO-LOG in their end-to-end logistics processes, from the placement of the initial order through to final delivery.
Before the introduction of these software-as-a-service solutions, the companies were facing a number of different challenges. However, they all had one challenge in common: The need to replace manual processes with automated processes to save time and money. Markus Karlein will reveal which solutions EURO-LOG proposed for these challenges – and what the specific benefits were for each of the customers – in his presentation, which is scheduled to start at 12.50 and conclude at 13.20.
For 25 years, EURO-LOG has been providing IT services to shippers and logistics service providers who know that logistics is much more than just transporting goods from A to B.
